Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what stays on your device. We keep this short on purpose — because there isn't much to say.

In plain English

InkStamp is an on-device watermarking tool. Every photo you import is processed locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not upload your photos, we do not have user accounts, and we do not run ads.

What we don't collect

Your photos. Images never leave your device through the app.
Your name or email. InkStamp has no sign-in.
Location. The app does not request location access.
Contacts, calendars, microphone, or health data.
Analytics or advertising identifiers.

What stays on your device

Your settings (signature text, preferred preset, export format). Stored in on-device UserDefaults.
A local cache of recently exported watermarks so you can preview them in the Gallery screen. The cache is limited in size, can be cleared from Settings, and is excluded from iCloud backup.
Your saved watermark templates (Pro). Stored locally.
Anonymous Apple transaction receipts used to verify your Pro subscription. We never see your Apple ID — only whether a valid subscription exists.

Photo library access

When you tap Save to Photos, iOS asks your permission to write to your Photos library. We only use that permission to save the stamped image you just exported. We never read existing photos through that permission.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. Apple shares only the transaction metadata needed to verify your Pro entitlement (product id, purchase date, expiration date, refund status). We never receive your card, billing address, or Apple ID.

Children

InkStamp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete any related data.

Your rights

Delete your data: every local record can be wiped from Settings → Reset to defaults / Clear recent stamps.
Export your data: everything is a plain file in the app's sandbox — there is nothing held on a remote server.
Cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Changes to this policy

If the app adds a feature that changes what we collect, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date. Material changes are announced in the App Store release notes.
